Live & Learn :: Lessons From Kaleb

It is time for another installment of Live & Learn, a lovely link up hosted by four lovely ladies, where we share the funny, silly, and terrible lessons we have learned.

Life As Always

I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with my adorable nephew, Kaleb over Christmas. I thought I would share with you all today, the lessons this tiny guy shared with me.

1. It is always a good time for a cookie.
Remember all of these cookies, we are still working our way though them.

2. Shots are best administered to the face, preferably the cheek or the nose.

Grandma gave Kaleb a Fisher Price Doctor Kit for Christmas, who knew Kaleb would skip right to botox injections, but let me you tell you, I have never looked better!

See, I am about to get a shot in the neck in this picture.

3. When playing hide and seek, you should always hide in the same spot. They will never look for you in that spot more than once and when they do finally find you, it will be hilarious!

4. Uncle Joel makes the best trampoline. It is best to wait for Joel to close his eyes, then pounce.

So there you have it, four life lessons that I have learned in the last few days thanks to my nephew, Kaleb. What a little character!

Be sure to stop by the link-up and see what everyone has been learning!

  1. Haha I used to work in a daycare and the kids always laid on the floor and gave each other 'shots' on the belly. I'll have to keep the hide and seek tip in mind next time I find myself playing hide and seek lol.

    1. Oh how cute! It was pretty entertaining to pretend to look in all kinds of spots right next to where he was hiding while he was giggling up a storm. Kids are pretty cute!

  2. Aw, this is so cute! Great idea for a Live & Learn lesson, too! Now I am trying to think of the next time I'm going to be around little kids, and what I can learn from them! :-)
